Thanks for visiting my speaking page. Here, you’ll find out more about me, my most-requested speaking topics, my schedule, and how to book me.
As a former marketing director and musician (in a former life), I understand the importance of captivating an audience. And like you, I’ve been on the receiving end of a message and felt bored, distracted, and even frustrated.
That’s why I don’t take words for granted. As a communicator, I am especially aware of the need for speakers to connect with an audience and leave them with practical takeaways.
You have a big choice ahead of you; I hope this page helps you make it. I appreciate you taking the time to consider me for your event. If you’d like to contact me directly, click the button below:
A little about me
My name’s Jeff Goins, and I’m an author, blogger, and speaker. I believe words make a difference and great ideas can change the world.
After working for seven years in the nonprofit world as a marketing and communications director, I now write and speak full-time. I’m also a husband and new dad and travel quite a bit, so life is always interesting.
An avid user of social media since 2006, I’ve helped train thousands of communicators to tell their stories online. Through my blog, online courses, and live events, I challenge people to make their messages matter and help them connect with their audiences.
As a Christian, my faith is an integral part of my life; however, I speak for a variety of audiences, including businesses, schools, conferences, churches, and nonprofit organizations. My speaking topics vary from writing and and marketing to leadership and making a difference in the world.
In 2011 and 2012, my blog was voted one of the “Top 10 Blogs on Writing” by WritetoDone.com, and my writing has been featured on some of the most popular blogs on the Internet, including Copyblogger, Problogger, and Zen Habits (voted by TIME Magazine as one of the top 50 websites of 2008).
My first book, Wrecked: When a Broken World Slams into Your Comfortable Life, was just released in August, 2012. It spent two weeks in the Top 50 Books list on Amazon.com and has already gone into a second printing, selling over 20,000 copies in a matter of months. I also self-published an eBook, called You Are a Writer (So Start Acting Like One), which was an Amazon Best Seller.
