I just sent out the second newsletter for this blog. If you're not subscribed to the list, you can do so here.
By the way, you should really consider setting up a newsletter on MailChimp. It's fun, free, and easy. (Oh, and it doesn't cost you anything, either.)
I'll use these newsletters to send out weekly updates, share interesting content that I've found, and occasionally do giveaways and whatnot.
Trust me, you want to subscribe to this thing, and not just because it's sponsored by a monkey. Here's what was in this week's newsletter:
Another Week Gone By…
This was another fun week at Goinswriter.com.
We talked about discipline, creativity, and inspiration. I threw out a few challenges to you guys, and we had some discussions about creating great content and doing it productively.
I set up a page on Facebook for the blog (and eventually for some other writing projects). You can “like” it here. (But only if you really like it.)
This week, we're going to be talking about blogging and SEO, and I'll be featuring my first guest blogger. I'll also be guest-blogging on some other sites to share some tips on writing and help promote the blog some more. If you want to know more about guest-blogging on my site or having me blog for you, just email me.
What Happened this Week:
I wrote a post about my dog's OCD, gave a shout-out to the short-lived show Freaks and Geeks, told you how to publish a book right now, shared some insights on heroes from Percy Jackson, and delivered a pretty powerful challenge to you about how to get the following you've always dreamed of.
